Ø Introduction:
At our
K.B.S.’s College of Engineering and Technology, North Maharashtra Knowledge
City Jalgaon (NMKC), we create knowledge and technology contributing to the
society through planning, preparing, designing and finally executing the work.
We believe that research and development are critical components in shaping the
future of education and society. In our college, research has been motivated
through every faculty and students as it improves the social aspects as well as
personal aspects, as far as research is concerned. We motivate students for
presenting technical papers at least in National conferences and projects in
competitions and exhibitions. We focus on the research which can open the door
to create new ideas and techniques, exploring the knowledge in the field of
Engineering. The R&D Committee focuses on identifying research
opportunities, providing resources and infrastructure, and fostering a culture
of innovation and collaboration among faculty and students. The main objectives
of the committee are to develop research environment in the institute, so as to
encourage faculties and students.

Functions
& Responsibilities
·
To encourage the faculty members and students to perform
outcome-based research, to prepare research proposals, interdisciplinary
research, product design and development, publications in reputed journals and
conferences.
·
To develop quality academics along with research.
·
To check the research proposals submitted by faculty members.
·
To conduct various FDP and conference.
·
To arrange Expert talks, interaction with Industry experts and
research guides.
·
Providing the resources to the HODs and research faculty available
in the R&D Centers.
·
Interacting with the HODs in fixing the focus areas of the
research and consultancy assignments opted by the faculty, breaking the
research areas into modules and modules into mini projects, major projects.
