The Department of Civil Engineering extends a heartfelt welcome to you. As a professional engineering discipline, civil engineering is concerned with the design, construction, and upkeep of the built environment, including projects like bridges, roads, canals, dams, and buildings. Our laboratories have been very effectively set up, not only to cover the entire syllabus but also to inspire students to learn beyond the syllabus, which undoubtedly develops complete subject knowledge (both the practical and theoretical depth of knowledge) and develops skill sets in students to become promising engineers in the future. In numerous private and public sector organizations, we have a great alumni base working in middle and high level roles. I am certain that our students will prove to be an invaluable asset to an organization
